Dr. Carroll received her M.D. from the University of Florida and her B.A. in French from Amherst College. Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Carroll taught English at the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon, France. She has participated in medical mission trips to Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua.
