Dr. Wagner received his B.A. from Baylor University, his M.Div.
from Southern Seminary and his Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of Florida. He is The Grace H. Osborn Clinical Assistant
Professor in the Program in Bioethics, Law and Medical Professionalism.
He also serves as Co-Chair of the Shands HealthCare Ethics Advisory
Committee. From 1970 until 1995 he served as the Director of Pastoral
Services at Shands. His interests include end-of-life issues, ethics
committees, concurrent case consultation, and ethical issues as they
occur in the context of religious belief. He has twice served as
President of the Florida Bioethics Network.
