CHFM Faculty

Our faculty continue to be highly evaluated for their medical student teaching activities. CHFM faculty are involved in the First Year Preceptorship and the Essentials of Patient Care courses; Ethics, and Physical Diagnosis courses in the second year; the six-week Interdisciplinary Clerkship in the third year; and various electives and ourCHFM Physicians in-patient rotation in the fourth year of the curriculum. Our medical student teaching activities are further detailed by Dr. Robert Hatch, in the Medical Education section of this report.

The accomplishments of our Family Medicine Residency Programs are documented by Drs. Hall and Wilson. We graduate eight new family physicians each year from our Gainesville program and ten per year from Jacksonville. The vast majority of our graduates have established successful family practices around the state.
