Hospitalist Faculty
The UF Hospitalist Service at Shands UF is a multi-specialty team comprised of physicians specializing in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine, more than half of whom are board certified. This unique cross-culture joining is at the cutting edge of hospital medicine and is helping Shands UF lead the way in integrated patient-centered care in our community. The UF Hospitalist Service is focused on goals to improve patient care; from reducing length of stay and hospital re-admission rates to improving communication to primary care providers. This team of professionals is dedicated to making Shands UF the best it can be for our patients and our community.
The Community Service for Inpatients is a hospitalist service providing care for our patients requiring hospitalization at Shands at Lake Shore in Lake City.
