Dr. Burg received her Ph.D. from Florida State University and her degree in Sociology from the University of Florida. Most of her research has been in the areas of women's health and preventive health behaviors. Dr. Burg is the Executive Director of the UF College of Medicine Center for Research on Women's Health.
